| Childress' team back on top
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Richard Childress paced through one of his team haulers, masterfully handling several different tasks at once. GIESON CACHO: GAME ON: Cancel your plans - fall is gaming season
WITH THE RELEASE of "Madden NFL '07," EA unofficially kicks off one of the biggest gaming seasons in years. In the next four months, there will be at least a dozen triple-A titles, a couple of must-have peripherals and two new systems. That's going to be a lot of hardware and titles to keep track of. With that in mind, here's a look at some of the more promising games in September, and barring delays or cancellations, they should hit stores by the fall. After "Madden," gamers can turn to the PlayStation 2 for a pair of long-anticipated titles. Sega comes out with "Yakuza" produced by "Super Monkey Ball" developer Toshihiro Nagoshi. Touted as one of the most expensive games ever made, the title may be able to back that claim with Hollywood voice talent such as Eliza Dushku, Michael Madsen and Mark Hamill.
